1. Who you are agreeing with
These terms are an agreement between you and BarnRecords SASU, share capital €100, RCS Évry 982 485 260, 24 rue de la Sablonnière, 91410 Les Granges-le-Roi, France ("we", "us"), which operates DoLoop at getdoloop.com.
By creating an account or using DoLoop you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, don't use the service — that is the whole enforcement mechanism, and it works both ways.
2. What DoLoop is
DoLoop is a web application for organising recurring tasks into loops. You create tasks and loops, run an arming pass to bring due tasks forward, and mark them completed or skipped.
DoLoop is in early access. It is functional but incomplete, it will change, and it may have bugs. Features described as planned on our website are intentions, not commitments — we do not promise that any specific feature will ship, or when.
3. Your account
You need a valid email address and a password. You must:
- be at least 16 years old;
- give us an email address you actually control;
- keep your password to yourself, and tell us at contact@getdoloop.com if you think your account has been accessed by someone else;
- be responsible for what happens under your account.
One account per person. Don't register on someone else's behalf without their say-so.
4. Acceptable use
Use DoLoop for organising your tasks. Don't:
- break the law with it, or use it to help anyone else break the law;
- upload content that is illegal where you are or where we are;
- attempt to access other users' accounts or data;
- attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or scrape it in a way that degrades it for others — good-faith security research reported to contact@getdoloop.com is welcome and explicitly not covered by this prohibition;
- resell access to DoLoop or present it as your own product.
If you do these things we may suspend or delete your account. For anything that is not blatant we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it first.
5. What it costs
DoLoop is free during early access. There is no billing system, no paid plan, no trial period and nothing to cancel.
DoLoop will not stay free forever. When a paid plan is introduced, we will publish its terms and prices before it takes effect, and accounts created during early access will be offered a permanent discount on it. We will never start charging an existing account without asking first and getting an explicit, affirmative agreement to pay — if you do not agree, you can export your data and delete your account at no cost.
6. Your content is yours
You keep all rights to the tasks, loops and text you put into DoLoop. We claim no ownership of it.
You grant us only the narrow, revocable licence we need to operate the service: to store, process, back up and display your content back to you. Nothing more — we do not use your content for advertising, we do not share it with third parties, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the backup retention period in our privacy policy.
7. Our content
The DoLoop name, logo, design and software are ours. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to copy it.
8. Availability, and what we are honestly promising
We try to keep DoLoop running and we take backups, but this is a free early-access product operated by a very small team. We do not offer a service-level agreement or an uptime guarantee. There will be downtime, planned and unplanned.
Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. You can export your tasks and loops at any time. We are not going to pretend a free product is a system of record for critical data.
If we ever decide to shut DoLoop down, we will announce it in advance and give you a reasonable period — at least 30 days — to export your data.
9. Ending it
You: delete your account whenever you want, for any reason or none. That deletes your tasks and loops. See our privacy policy for exactly what is erased and when.
Us: we may suspend or terminate your account if you break §4, if we are legally required to, or if we discontinue the service. Except in cases of serious or illegal misuse, we will give you notice and a chance to export your data first.
10. Disclaimers
DoLoop is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. In particular we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, or that arming, scheduling or counters will behave exactly as you expect in every case.
If you are a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights are not affected by this section. Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data (where you had the ability to export it), or any missed task, deadline or obligation arising from your use of — or inability to use — DoLoop.
Since DoLoop is currently free, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is nothing. We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under French law.
DoLoop is a task organiser, not a professional tool. Don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical or regulatory obligations.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect, and continuing to use DoLoop after that means you accept them. If you don't, delete your account — you will have your data and no penalty.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence and you keep the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law.
Before going to court, please email contact@getdoloop.com. Almost everything is faster to fix that way.
14. Odds and ends
If any provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing something immediately does not waive it. These terms plus our privacy policy are the entire agreement between us about DoLoop.
